Copenhagen: The Hatred of Capitalism
The fact that Hugo Chavez is anti-capitalism is no surprise. The frightening reality is that the President of the United States appears to feel the same. There are numerous advisors and czars in Obama's administration that hate 'The American Way' as much as Chavez.
The hypocrisy is that they hate capitalism but they all want the money, wealth, power and lifestyle it produces. They've all been screaming for money with their hands out since the conference started.

The Boston Tea Party. The British continued to add tax upon tax on the American colonies. The people in the colonies protested and were ignored by the British. Once the British added a tax to tea, the colonists had enough and threw the tea on three ships overboard to send a message to the crown. This all sounds eerily familiar.
This year, due to the enormous overreach of our federal government, we have seen the formation of what is called the Tea Party movement which refers back to the event that happened on this date. The federal government continues to tax and spend with no regard to our opinions, our concerns or the damage they are doing to our economy and debt. We have called, e-mailed, protested throughout the nation and have been ignored.
Personally, I believe we need to party like it's 1773!

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

This is an interesting story but two particular sentences caught my attention:
"The IRS tracks the voluntary compliance rate of federal employees and retirees each year, and each year feds come up short."
"As for the general public's voluntary compliance rate, the IRS no longer tracks those numbers, so it is impossible to compare."
If paying federal income taxes is considered a voluntary compliance why are people in prison for not voluntarily complying?
I would like to know. Is paying the federal income tax lawfully voluntary or lawfully compulsory? Anyone? Please post your comments.
And what about the US Postal Service? Their employees are the most delinquent! Is it 'in the mail?'

I have always thought that only the Legislative Branch had the power to distribute federal funds however they saw fit. Evidently, that fact is no longer true for it appears the Judicial Branch now shares that authority. Have you noticed that every weekend our federal government seizes more and more banks? I can't help but wonder if these banks are really in trouble or if the feds are seizing all of the banks it doesn't control yet in order to take control of the entire US banking industry before they're done.

We need to try to stop this from happening. Call your Congressman and tell them you don't want the debt ceiling raised - you want spending slashed to the bone. No more pork, no more pet projects - they should be eliminated because we can't afford them. No health care, no cap and trade.
On November 25, 2008, President-Elect Obama promised to go through the budget line by line, eliminate unnecessary spending (I think that applies to 90% of the budget) and cut where possible. Now, I'm not naive. I know he had no intention of ever doing that but we still need to be aggressive and remind them of the words he said.
They must begin to reign in spending and they never will if we condone these periodic credit extensions to their outrageous irresponsibility. It is our country and our future they are destroying. I care about that even though they don't.

Copenhagen: Desired End Result is Death
It's all coming together, now. We've been inundated with the propaganda of the left for years about 'global warming,' 'climate change,' etc., being told that the desire is to 'save the planet.' Really?
Three days ago, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) declared carbon dioxide (what we exhale!) as dangerous to humanity and the major cause of the 'global crisis' we are facing due to the weather. Really?
Today, we are told by the Chinese that one of the problems related to all of these upcoming catastrophes is population. Really?
Little by little, they are introducing their agenda and, because there is no push back, they announce the next phase knowing the rest of us will willingly walk the plank for the ‘good of the planet.’
The global left have us right where they want us. It has taken years but their goal is within their grasp and they will not stop until it is achieved. You see, the fewer people on earth, the fewer CO2 emissions that can harm us. Isn’t it wonderful we have leaders so concerned about our welfare and our future?
Now, look at what has happened in America for the last generation.
The left have taken over our schools curriculum and our teachers. Now, instead of teaching ‘reading, writing and ‘rithmetic’ they are teaching social indoctrination and perversion to our children. See here.
Abortion was legalized (it’s a Constitutional right, you know - the Framers said so!) and because of the millions of aborted babies (a generation has been killed) we have become desensitized to murder in the womb. We also value animal and plant life much higher than human life. A man can go to prison for participating in dog fighting but a woman faces no charges for killing her unborn (or, in some cases, born) child.
We have been indoctrinated with the ‘global warming’ religion and the left have so succeeded in denigrating the Christian religion in the last forty-five years that Christians are now seen as the kooks in society. Environmentalism is the new religion of the world. The Earth is their god and is to be worshiped above all else. Really? Or do they ‘worship’ something else?
Recently, we have seen our system of government and our entire way of life assaulted, from within, in order to control every aspect of our lives and take more and more of our money. The ‘Cap and Trade’ bill will do this. They also need to be rid of the older citizens that know what the Constitution says and what it means. The people that know it is illegal for government to do what they are doing. The ‘Health Insurance Reform’ bill will do this.
This entire environmental fiasco is evil to the core and the objectives are evil, as well. The Bible tells us the love of money (not money, itself) is the root of all evil. (1 Timothy 6:10) We’ve been told Al Gore will be the first ‘climate change’ billionaire. Third world countries are gathered in Copenhagen with their hands outstretched for the richest countries to fill with their hard-earned money in order to pay their ‘climate debt.’ These are their ‘gods’ – money and power.
Once Copenhagen’s treaty is enacted, while the rest of the world’s population (Americans included) live lives as peasants, these ‘leaders’ will continue to live as kings with their private jets, limousines, caviar and lack of conscience. They will continue to kill the unborn, control the ‘education’ we get, the cars we drive, the food we eat, the light bulbs we use and take more of our money for the privilege of being allowed to exist. Health care will be rationed in order to control population growth and eliminate the older population to insure the people will remain sheep.
The desired result is death to freedom, death to financial independence, death to all dissent, continued death to the unborn through abortion, death to adults through euthanasia and health care rationing, death to Christianity, death to capitalism and, most importantly, death to America.
We the People may not be able to stop the avalanche of evil that is upon us but I know One that will right all wrongs for “as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrew 9:27) Really.

For the Horses?
Of all of the stories I've read, this year, this one really makes me suspicious. Perhaps, I'm wrong but I do wonder why, suddenly, the Feds want to get these horses off of 'federal' land and I don't believe it's because the Feds want to feed them. Why not feed them where they stand? No, I'm wondering what they really want to do with the land.
Maybe, this administration has really made me paranoid but I've gotten to the point that I don't believe our federal government. Their goal is to take my money and my freedom. They are working overtime to accomplish their goal. By this time next year, I don't know if we'll recognize our country.

EPA: Carbon Dioxide Endangers Human Health
Just as we were attacked by Japan on this date, sixty-eight years ago, we have been attacked today by our own federal government. I must say, if this wasn't so scary, it would be hysterically funny. The EPA has announced their final report today on the endangerment finding that carbon dioxide is dangerous to human health.
This is a sweeping, executive power grab unprecedented in the history of this nation. Of course, it goes without saying, that it's another in a long line of unconstitutional actions by the Obama administration.
As you know, I have been posting links to stories about ClimateGate on this blog for almost two weeks and I have also pointed out that Obama and the mainstream media have ignored the truth that ‘global warming’ and the ‘climate change’ doctrines are lies that have been manipulated to make the world populations believe them to be true.
I believe the world leaders know the doctrines of 'global warming' and 'climate change' are absolute scams perpetrated on an ignorant population in order to control every aspect of their lives and take every bit of their wealth. This is the new socialism and it is insidious.
This entire movement ('green,' 'environmental,' 'global warming,' ‘climate change,’ etc.) is nothing more than a global power grab to redistribute wealth, enslave entire populations and control what people can own, how people can travel, what people can do for a living and how people can live. And because Obama’s ‘Cap and Trade’ bill is languishing in the Senate, he gave the EPA the green light (no pun intended) to override Congress and take over the entire economy.
Since taking office, this government has taken over the banks and financial sector of our country. It now owns 90% of the mortgages of the country. It has taken over GM and Chrysler. It has told private industry the amount it is allowed to pay industry executives. The government is now the loan officer for all student loans in this country. The Federal Reserve is printing trillions of dollars and causing our currency to devalue. The House has passed, and the Senate is debating, a health care overhaul that will give the federal government full control of the health care decisions for every person in this country. Once in effect, rationing and dying will begin. The Feds are also going to ask Congress for authority to regulate all subways and light rail trains in the nation. And, today, the EPA has said with every breath we take, we are endangering humanity. This is beyond ridiculous!!
Once again, I ask, do you ever feel like you’re living in ‘The Twilight Zone?’ I do, every day. The truth no longer matters to our ‘representatives’ in government. Our opinions don’t matter. Our phone calls, e-mails, polls, town hall meetings, marches on Washington or any other objections don’t matter one bit to these radical, maniacal individuals who were ‘elected’ to represent us.
I blame every person that voted for Obama and every person that voted for the Democrats that now control Congress for what is happening in this country. The sad thing is those ignorant voters aren’t the only ones that are going to suffer tremendously for their ill-informed votes. If that were the case, I would say, “Well, they deserve it for being so stupid.” But, unfortunately, we are all going to suffer in ways we cannot imagine – yet. It is coming. Sooner than we think.
I also blame the elected Republicans who are doing little, to nothing, to stop the unconstitutional and unimaginable power grab of this administration. Why aren't they on every television station screaming from the rooftops that this is all against the law? Why aren't they on every radio station crying out to save our Republic? Are the Republicans in agreement with all of the hostile takeovers of the federal government?
Have you also stopped to think about the fact that this much damage has been done in less than a year? This despot and his helpers have three more years in office. Will there be a United States of America in three years?
If I had the money, I would buy an island, grow my own food and escape this present madness and the madness to come. I don’t have the money. And if I did, it wouldn’t matter because our government is doing all it can to make our ‘money’ worthless paper.

Obama's 'Final Solution to the Jewish Question'
The road President Obama is on concerning Israel and it's future is very dangerous. In my eyes, it is no different than the Nazi SS plan of the 1930's and 1940's. The reason I use this strong language is very simple - to give in to the demands of the Jordanians (who suddenly became 'Palestinians' after Israel was declared a nation in 1948) is to destroy Israel. The goal of these Jordanians, along with the Iranians and other Muslims is to 'wipe Israel off the map.' More and more, I believe that is the goal of President Barack Hussein Obama.

The Arizona sank in approximately 19 minutes and took most of the 1,177 crew members who were lost with her to the bottom of the harbor. The crew members are entombed there today as a fitting final resting place with the ship they served and loved."

On This Date in History...
Prohibition repealed! Text of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States:
Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.
Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
This is the only amendment that has passed primarily to repeal an earlier amendment. I, personally, gave up drinking 'intoxicating liquors' many years ago but since November 4, 2008, I can't say I haven't considered taking it up again...

Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
This is the only amendment that has passed primarily to repeal an earlier amendment. I, personally, gave up drinking 'intoxicating liquors' many years ago but since November 4, 2008, I can't say I haven't considered taking it up again...

With the collapsing business model of Big Media in this country, there has been increased chatter about a government bailout for the industry. This has sparked some legitimate concern about the power of the political classes to dictate the reporting of news stories by the dinosaur media. But would it really be any different than the situation today? The environment reporter for the New York “Pentagon Papers” Times came up with this howler for why the paper wouldn’t publish the emails:
The documents appear to have been acquired illegally and contain all manner of private information and statements that were never intended for the public eye, so they won’t be posted here.
Could Big Media actually be any more willfully ignorant of stories embarrassing to the political classes? At least if they were on the government dole, they might be more honest about their censoring of the news.
