Costella proved that there was massive ‘research’ funding — with strings attached requiring production of ‘evidence’ backing preordained eco-wacko ‘findings.’ The fakery that took place in Penn. Bible Written Earlier Than Thought?

Margaret Sanger founder of Planned Parenthood

Abortion, Eugenics and the Meaning of Margaret Sanger

Future for USA Could be Catastrophic

By now, I'm sure you've heard of a meeting attended by Congressman Marion Berry (D-AR) involving Democrats at the White House. At the meeting, Congressman Berry was trying to tell President Obama and others that they need to leave their leftist agenda and move to the center or there will be a blood bath in November. The now famous quote from President Obama was, “The big difference here and in ‘94 was you’ve got me.” Talk radio and other commentators have made fun of this remark and laughed it off. I'm not laughing.

Obama is arrogant, to be sure, but I think his confidence in this area isn't about him, personally, but about his army. He has the union thugs from SEIU and the 'voter registration' experts at ACORN ready to do his bidding in November. He knows the country has turned against him and his agenda but that doesn't matter. Yes, there have been three big elections that have swung to the Republicans, but that's only three.

Come November, the Organizer in Chief will have his army in full swing in order to have enough votes, in the end, to keep whomever he wants in Washington and keep his agenda on track. This man is not stupid, he's wicked. He knows he can't manipulate the outcomes of special elections but in a national election, he can have his way because there are not enough good guys to keep track of the myriad of hoodlums working for The One.

Don't think he hasn't gotten 'the message' of Massachusetts. He got it. However, he realizes that America hasn't gotten his message - he doesn't care. His agenda will roll on, regardless of America.

Congress Increasingly Irresponsible

Do you ever wonder why Congress and the Executive spend tax dollars so freely? It's because it's not their money. They don't earn it, they don't have to save to get it - they just take it! Since they can take whatever they want, whenever they want, from whomever they want, in the amount they want, the money is meaningless to them so they continue to spend every dollar irresponsibly. Then, when they have spent it all, do they reign in their desire and live within a budget? Do they cut spending - ever?! No! They take more of my money, more of your money and more of the money of generations to come!

These people are worse than tyrants! Whether they will answer for their theft in this life or not, I know they will answer for it in the life to come.

The Federalist Papers in Modern English

As you know, I have been posting each of The Federalist Papers on the date of its original publication (there is one today). A friend has recently sent some information to me about a woman that is working on annotating the US Constitution with The Federalist Papers. Her name is Mary E. Webster and she has already published two different volumes of The Federalist in modern English.

I encourage everyone to seriously consider ordering this book. Sometimes, the old English is challenging but with these documents in modern English, we can truly understand the rights of the people and the limits on the government. This will assist in our fight for freedom today.

I do not know Mary E. Webster but I do plan to contact her about her very important work. All of that to say, I will not benefit in any way if you order her book. I'm encouraging you to buy it so We the People can study for ourselves and save our nation.

SEIU Thug Demands ObamaCare Be Passed

Hot Air: SEIU warns Obama: If ObamaCare doesn’t pass, we might not be there for the midterms

Hot Air: GE/MSNBC political commentator pretty upset about political influence of corporations

Amazing! In the first link is a story about SEIU threatening Congress that unless they get their way and the hostile takeover of the health care industry succeeds, they won't be giving their time and money to the Democrats in the fall.

The second link is about MS-NBC maniac Keith Olberman throwing a tantrum like a two year old about the Supreme Court ruling taking the shackles off of corporations in a first amendment case.

Do you see the hypocrisy? The left has no problem with the labor unions giving millions to the Democrats and threatening not to give them more but the left doesn't want corporations to have that same freedom because the corporations may give their money to the Republicans. Do you see, now?

The Democrats are squealing like pigs because they know the Supreme Court has just leveled the playing field! That is the primary complaint although they mask it in other words to convince us the Supreme Court has done an awful thing. Olberman, and the other leftists, don't want all things equal. They want the edge, they want to squash freedom of speech and all other freedom as they cry out telling us how much they love freedom. It's only freedom for themselves they love. If anyone else has freedom, they blow a gasket like Olberman did last night when he said that SCOTUS has 'murdered democracy' because the 'corporations will own politicians.' Really?

Will they own the politicians just like the unions own the Democrats and like the unions have owned the Democrats for generations? Didn't The One just exempt the unions from the 40% tax on their Cadillac health care plans, in ObamaCare, but the rest of America has to pay the tax if they shove the bill down our throats?

Will the corporations own the politicians like the trial lawyers own the Democrats? Is there any tort reform in ObamaCare? No? Could it be because the trial lawyers said no, just like the unions said no to the 40% tax? Is that what you mean by being 'owned,' Mr. Olberman?

One of the very reasons this monstrosity of a takeover has been pushed so hard for the past year is because of these unions that own Democrats! The unions and the trial lawyers call the shots - not We the People!

Now, watch and listen. These progressives are evil to their very core and if you pay attention, you see it with your own eyes. They will tell us who they really are and we'll see if the progressive rats in Washington will lie down once more for the 'union label.'

Sarah Palin: To Be or Not To Be... A 'Commonsense' Conservative

This past Wednesday, Sarah Palin announced she will be campaigning for Rick Perry, the Governor of Texas, Michele Bachmann, the Congresswoman from Minnesota and John McCain, the RINO from Arizona. Her Facebook announcement is entitled ‘Ride the Tide with Commonsense Candidates!’ Where’s the ‘commonsense’ in campaigning for John McCain?

Rick Perry is the Governor who informed The One, last year, Texas can secede from the union if Washington goes too far. Michele Bachmann is the Congresswoman who called for the two emergency marches on Washington, last fall, to stop ObamaCare from being shoved through Congress. I understand Palin’s decision to back these candidates for re-election. They are solid, conservative candidates that America needs in order to continue our fight for liberty and to save our Constitution.

John McCain is the Senator who turns on his party and the party’s core beliefs every chance he gets. McCain is the one whose campaign finance legislation was just overturned by the SCOTUS as being unconstitutional. McCain is the one that fought for illegal immigration to be accepted and embraced by American citizens. McCain is the one that ‘walks across the aisle’ more than he stays in his own seat!

McCain is the one chosen by Republican blue bloods to be their nominee for President in 2008. McCain is the one whose presidential campaign was dying a slow death until he picked the Governor of Alaska to be his running mate. Is that why she’s campaigning for McCain? Is it a sense of obligation, loyalty or as she told Glenn Beck yesterday, “I'm supporting him. I keep my word.”

No matter the reason, I must confess, when I read her Facebook post I was very disappointed. For those of you that read this blog regularly, you have concluded that I am a Sarah Palin fan. When she came to my town campaigning in 2008, I was in the front row at the rope line directly in front of her while she spoke, I shook her hand and spoke with her that day and I have an autographed copy of the first edition of Going Rogue.

Not only am I disappointed, the remarks I’ve seen in the blogosphere are red hot! People are very upset with her for supporting McCain for re-election and I believe Palin is going to pay dearly for this decision. We the People don’t like John McCain and that should have been obvious in 2008 when she was his running mate. If not for her, his candidacy would have been a total failure. Even his hatchet man, Steve Schmidt, admits they would have had a much more humiliating defeat if Sarah Palin had not been on the ticket.

Since McCain’s re-election bid is in trouble this year, he has called in the cavalry to prop him up and she has agreed to do it. I believe she should let him fall and allow a ‘commonsense conservative’ to take his place but, in the end, I will not abandon Sarah Palin.

Congressman Jo Bonner's Response to my Inquiry

A few months ago I wrote an email to my Congressman, Jo Bonner, expressing my concern over the latest Health Care bill.  My main concern was that Obama and the Democrats have been trying to shove this legislation through Congress with disregard to the American people's wishes. This was his informative reply:

- Michael

Thank you for contacting me concerned as to our country's misguided path under the leadership of President Obama. Knowing you share my strong feelings of disbelief as to where we are headed as a nation, I wanted to bring this last year into perspective.

Last January, many Americans began the New Year with high hopes. Some three million came to Washington to watch the swearing in of a new president who pledged to bring change. As you know, instead of better times, Americans have suffered through a troubled economy and the highest unemployment in a generation. It has been a year of missed legislative opportunities.

One should expect some controversial ideas to flow from any new presidency. However, the Obama administration has forced through four years worth of such initiatives in only its first year, while also setting a record for federal deficit spending. In most cases, the administration has deliberately shut out the conservative minority.

Barely a month in office, the new president wasted no time in passing a $787 billion economic stimulus bill. He said it would deliver three million new jobs and revive the economy. I opposed the stimulus which was rushed to a vote without proper scrutiny. And a year later, with national unemployment 2 percent higher than before the stimulus was enacted, it's still unclear whether this mammoth spending program has done anything other than add to the record federal budget deficit.

It wasn't long before the administration served up another promised panacea for the floundering American economy - a mammoth energy bill dubbed "Cap and Trade". We were told it would help meet our energy needs while growing green jobs. However, the restrictions it would impose on American industry would not only drive up energy costs, but place manufacturers at a competitive disadvantage - costing jobs. I voted against this misguided energy bill and instead supported the Republican alternative which would increase production of domestic and alternative energy, including nuclear power and clean coal - without costly government mandates. Fortunately, the Cap and Trade bill has not yet passed the Senate.

Undeniably the most controversial action of the administration and the liberal-dominated House during 2009 was the passage of the big government health care legislation in early November. The Senate followed with its version on December 24. I voted against this flawed legislation which will raise taxes by hundreds of billions of dollars and take even greater control over our nation's economy. The House health care bill also piles crushing mandates on small businesses and decimates the popular Medicare Advantage program, on which millions of seniors depend.

I supported the Republican alternative to this health care bill which would lower health care premiums for families and small businesses. It would help more Americans gain access to health care regardless of pre-existing conditions, take on costly Medical malpractice lawsuits, and prevent insurers from unjustly cancelling a policy or imposing annual or lifetime spending caps. It would also permit Americans to buy health insurance across state lines, and allow small businesses to pool together to obtain health care at lower prices.

Having passed separate health care bills, the Democrat leadership is now negotiating a final version in secret - away from Republicans and the American public. C-SPAN recently made a formal request to Congress to open up these health care negotiations to the media. In open defiance of the Obama administration's promise to provide a more transparent government, the Democrat leadership has refused C-SPAN's request.

One of the final disappointments of 2009 was the passage of a second stimulus bill which will effectively add another $150 billion to the already questionable $787 billion original stimulus package. I also voted against this wasteful expense and, instead, supported applying the funds toward paying down the federal debt.

With the arrival of 2010, Congress and the administration would do well to finally listen to the American people. They know jobs don't come from government regulation, taxation, and massive federal red ink. Better health care doesn't come from fewer choices. And American energy independence doesn't come from costly government mandates. I believe opening up affordable domestic energy supplies and removing barriers to health care access, as Congressional conservatives have proposed, would go a long way toward reinvigorating the American economy.

Thank you again for contacting me and allowing me to share some of my thoughts on the state of our country. Please feel free to do so whenever I may be of assistance. With kind regards, I am

America Rising in California

'But Newsom said the Republican resurgence in Massachusetts suggests "there's real intensity and fervor out there, as represented by the Tea Party" activists expressing anger at government spending and at job losses.

"This is real," he said. "At our own peril, we dismiss these tea parties as ... some sort of isolated extremism. ... It's not." ' - San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom

Repeal 'Motor Voter' Act

The 'Motor Voter' act was sold to America as a way to make it easier for American ‘citizens’ to register to vote. President George Herbert Walker Bush vetoed the legislation in 1992 and the veto was upheld when the Senate failed to override.

However, after the election of William Jefferson Blythe Clinton the bill was passed by the Democrat Congress and signed into law on May 20, 1993 to take effect in 1995.

With the passage of this law the United States opened the floodgates to election fraud on a grand scale. Also this law once again trampled on the Constitution of the United States concerning states’ rights.

The laws and rules for elections are to be adopted by each individual state government. Each state has a Secretary of State that is in charge of the election laws in that state. How is it that a federal law was allowed to usurp the authority of each state to mandate a nationwide voter registration method? Why did the States agree to such a measure? Why haven’t they nullified this unconstitutional law?

One fascinating piece of information I found about this bill today was the fact that, extremists Richard Cloward and Frances Piven spearheaded this grand idea. Why isn’t anyone talking about that? Is there any question this law should be repealed? Perhaps, our Congressmen and Senators need to be reminded of that little fact and encouraged to take another look at this federal law. It’s time for the individual fifty states to take back their Constitutional rights in all areas of government.

U.S. Occupier?

I think the US just needs to leave Haiti, now. Pull out every solider, every ship, every plane, every doctor, every American, every dime and every piece of equipment there. Let France, Venezuela and the rest take charge of this tragedy. They all hate America so let them do the heavy lifting this time. We don't need the aggravation of their false charges.

"Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death!"

Almost 235 years later, this same speech could be given today on the floor of the U.S. House or U.S. Senate with only a few changes in the cast of characters. Once again, we find ourselves at a crossroad. Will we choose liberty or will we choose the death of America?

Read the famous Patrick Henry speech.

Benjamin Franklin

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

On this date in 1706, Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was one of the most famous Founding Fathers that never became President of the United States. He is well known for his wit, his wisdom, his inventions and his service to our fledgling nation. His devotion to the cause of freedom cost him the relationship with his illegitimate son, William, who stayed true to the crown of England and eventually left America never to return.

This was a man who knew what it meant to sacrifice for freedom. We don’t. For more than a generation, we have allowed the federal government to change our education system, to change our traditions, to change our court system and to change our values. We have allowed the federal government to usurp authority from the individual states, to waste our money and to trample our Constitutional rights.

Benjamin Franklin would have said, “No.” Read the above quote again. We have become a nation of sheep by allowing the federal government to search us before boarding an airplane and now they want to use machines that will basically strip-search us. We have, willingly, given some of our freedom for perceived security and what is the result? The federal government wants more.

Their desire is to control more of our lives, take more of our money, usurp more authority from the states, take over private industry and totally change our form of government. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but they’re making great progress in achieving their goals.

Yes, some of us have stood up and said, “Stop!” but not the majority. Ironically, our nation’s future may be determined in two days by the result of a special election in Massachusetts.

America has come full circle. Massachusetts has played a key role in countless historic events in our history. They include the Pilgrims founding of Plymouth Colony in 1620, the Boston Massacre in 1770, the Boston Tea Party in 1773, the midnight ride of Paul Revere and the shot heard ‘round the world, both in April 1775. The motto of Massachusetts is, “By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty.”

The eyes of an anxious nation look to Massachusetts once again. Will there be another shot heard ‘round the world on January 19, 2010 or will Massachusetts’ long history of freedom fighters and love of liberty conclude with a vote to relinquish the freedom once cherished by America and the world?
