How committed are Republicans to repeal in the wake of the Supreme
Court’s decision to uphold ObamaCare in its entirety on Thursday? John
Boehner answered that question on CBS’ Face the Nation
yesterday, pledging to rip ObamaCare out “by its roots.” Only then, the
House Speaker told CBS, can Congress and (presumably) a new President
address rational and meaningful health-insurance reform in a way that
doesn’t put the federal government in control of the entire industry.
However, the interview shows the difficulty of making this case without a
plan to protect some of the more popular parts of the ObamaCare bill
