Paul Ryan at CPAC 2012

Earlier this year, I posted several speeches given at CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) 2012. Monday, Rush Limbaugh mentioned Congressman Paul Ryan's speech from that conference so I searched Republic Heritage and couldn't find it. Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't post it. I have decided to post it today because there are many people that have no idea who Paul Ryan is or what he believes. Of course, we can all count on the left to tell us who they want him to be.

Ryan is a true conservative and small government advocate. I have posted several of his speeches over the past few years and I sincerely believe he will be one of the key players in saving our nation, if it is to be saved. As I've said previously, I thought he could do a better job at cutting spending and shrinking government from the House Budget Committee Chairmanship but, perhaps, I am wrong with that view. Regular visitors to this blog know that I am not a fan of Mitt Romney and did not want him to be the Republican nominee but, I must say, since he has chosen a strong conservative, limited government running mate, I do feel better about Romney.

Paul Ryan, as always, gave an excellent speech at CPAC this year. Enjoy. - Reggie
