Lara Logan: The Longest War

CBS reporter, Lara Logan, is in the news today because of a keynote speech she gave at Tuesday’s Better Government Association annual luncheon in Chicago. The story of her speech is all over the Internet but I can't find a video or transcript so I can only post links to a couple of the stories. UPDATE: I have found the video. Click here to watch it.

However, I do have a quote: “There is this narrative coming out of Washington for the last two years,” Logan began. It is driven in part by “Taliban apologists,“ who claim ”they are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban.”

“It’s such nonsense!”

I am also posting her September 30th report for 60 Minutes. - Reggie
